Tata PMS is the PMS division of Tata AMC. Despite having a strong brand in India, Tata has faced challenges in growing their AMC business. They have experienced high turnover of senior fund managers and have struggled to scale their PMS business.
Team Pedigree
Tata PMS has recently seen investment-team churn, with the previous fund manager, Tejas Gutka, exiting in July 2025 and being replaced by Pranav Mise. This also highlights a broader concern with MF-driven AMC structures, where fund-manager continuity can be an issue due to limited long-term incentives to retain key talent.
